SEAM Donates Cell Phones DriveSafeSD Campaign
We are proud to be involved with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety Office of Highway Safety’s sculpture they unveiled today for their campaign, #DriveSafeSD, at the The Empire Mall.
The sculpture encourages drivers to put down their cell phones while they drive and was designed by Sioux Falls artist Nichole Cross of Composite Design Studio and features 250 cell phones in coffins to represent the 250 drivers killed or injured in distracted driving related crashes in South Dakota during 2021.
SEAM donated the cell phones used in the artwork, which will remain in the mall for nine weeks, then will be moved statewide to various public events.
SEAM provides IT recycling and data destruction services including onsite shredding and hard drive wiping to South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.
