DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION CARTS

Secure document destruction carts can be delivered to your facility for convenient collection of sensitive materials until they’re ready to be shredded—either onsite at your location or offsite at SEAM’s certified shredding facility.

Certificates of Destruction are provided for every job and made available 24/7 through SEAM’s online customer portal.

ONSITE SHREDDING

SEAM’s mobile shredding truck provides document destruction at your facility, allowing you to witness the process and reduce liability. This is ideal for customers who require real-time transparency.

One-time cleanouts and recurring service (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) are available in the Sioux Falls metro area. Availability outside the area may vary by location, frequency, and volume.

SECURE IN PLANT SHREDDING

For a cost-effective alternative, documents can be securely transported in locked containers to SEAM’s certified facility. Full chain-of-custody tracking ensures security from pickup to final destruction.

Types of Paper We Shred

SEAM provides paper shredding services from collection to final processing.
We use industrial shredders to securely destroy documents and prepare the material for recycling.

SEAM accepts a variety of paper materials for shredding, including but not limited to:

  • Office, mixed & cardstock paper (all grades/colors; staples and paperclips okay) – copier paper, computer/fax sheets, ledgers, stubs, lottery tickets, carbonless forms, newspapers, road maps, blueprints, drawings

  • Paper file folders (soft tabs okay) – manila, accordion

  • Paper envelopes (windows, labels, and stamps okay) – standard #10, window, kraft, brown, white

  • Notepads, sticky notes& paper rolls – Post-it notes, legal pads, adding machine rolls, calculator rolls, register receipts, thermal paper

  • Have something else? Just ask us!

Paper is destroyed using 5/8" (15.8mm) shred knives.

Is SEAM certified for document shredding?

SEAM follows strict internal procedures for secure paper shredding. While we hold NAID AAA Certification for hard drive and solid-state device destruction, we are not currently NAID AAA Certified for paper or printed media. If certification is a requirement for your organization, please contact us to discuss your compliance needs.
