Clearly defined processes—including locked containers, GPS-tracked transport, and certified destruction—ensure no unauthorized access occurs. Data Sanitization
SEAM’s hard drive data-destruction and sanitization practices follow the latest recognized standards, including NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1, which defines secure, verifiable methods for data erasure and physical destruction on modern storage devices. Our standards ensure information is permanently removed and unrecoverable, providing complete assurance and compliance for every customer.
Verified Chain of Custody
Every device SEAM handles is tracked from pickup through final destruction. A proprietary database records serial numbers, weights, and timestamps to create a complete audit trail—accessible anytime through our secure customer portal. All documentation aligns with NIST SP 800-88, providing proof that each asset was processed securely and in accordance with industry-defined standards.
Secure Facilities & Staff
Our Sioux Falls facility features controlled access, 24/7 surveillance, and motion sensors. Only trained, authorized employees—screened through background checks and drug testing—are permitted inside. Ongoing staff training maintains compliance with all certification protocols.
Facility Transparency
Customers are welcome to see our standards firsthand. Facility visits include check-ins, ID badges, and an accompanying SEAM representative—because transparency is part of our security promise.
