SEAM Sponsoring Co-Ed Breaker Day

Dec 1, 2017

On Saturday December 2, 2017 SEAM will be helping CybHer and Code Bootcamp demystify how electronics and appliances work at their first Co-Ed Breaker Day event in Madison, SD.

Students in fifth through 10th grades and their parents are invited to explore and take apart electronics like computers, keyboards, printers, electronic toys and other items in a safe and educational environment.

SEAM will be donating equipment for students to “break” as well as recycling all of the scrap material at our Sioux Falls electronics recycling facility. Check out the links below for details:

The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the DSU Beacom Institute of Technology and is presented by SEAM, SBS CyberSecurity, Code Bootcamp, CybHer and DSU.

SEAM provides IT recycling and data destruction services including onsite shredding and hard drive wiping to South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.
